How to Add and Scan Shopify Stores in Product Search - TA Classic

Learn how to add and scan any Shopify store directly inside Tactical Arbitrage Classic.

Updated today

This new feature allows you to explore full Shopify store catalogs — including clearance items — and automatically match products to Amazon.

This feature is currently available only in TA Classic and is not supported in TA Lite.

To get started:

  1. Go to Product Search

  2. Click on Explore

  3. Enter the Shopify store URL

From there, the system will check the store and display its status.

If you're currently using TA Lite and need help switching versions, you can follow this guide: How to Switch Between TA Classic and TA Lite.

Understanding Store Status Indicators

When you add a store, Tactical Arbitrage will clearly indicate its current status:

  • Added and ready to scan
The store is confirmed as a Shopify site and can be scanned.

  • Not added (likely a non-Shopify website)
The system could not detect Shopify. The site may not be supported.

  • Already in your list
The store has already been added to your account.

These indicators make it easy to know immediately whether you can proceed.

What This Feature Unlocks

Adding Shopify stores through Explore allows you to:

  • Scan an entire Shopify store catalog

  • Include clearance and sale items

  • Generate a complete list of all products currently listed

  • Quickly analyze new sourcing opportunities

Instead of scanning category by category manually, you can capture everything in one go.

How Matching Works

Once the store is added and scanned, Tactical Arbitrage will attempt to match products to Amazon using:

  1. UPC (First Priority)
If a UPC is available, this will be used for the most accurate match.

  2. Image & Title Matching
If no UPC is found, the system will use product images and titles to identify potential Amazon matches.
