Learn to use TA 2.0 Reverse Search to scan Amazon sellers or brands using Seller ID or keywords.

Updated today

The Reverse Search feature in Tactical Arbitrage allows you to run seller-based searches using Amazon Seller ID or Brands in Amazon. This is especially useful when you want to see what a competitor is currently selling on Amazon or sell products from a specific brand.

This guide covers how to use the Sellers mode in Reverse search interface to search by Seller ID or Brands.

To get started with a code or keyword-based search:

  1. Navigate to the Reverse Search tool under the Search tab.

  2. Click Find Products in the top right corner of your screen.

  3. Select your search type and hit Next Step.

  4. You can select Sellers to proceed with Seller ID or Brands.

Notes: At the top of the page, you’ll find three source options for Reverse Search:

    • Products: Use this option to search by ASIN, UPC, or keyword. Ideal for code-based reverse searches.

    • Sellers: To search based on brand names or specific storefronts.

    • Amazon: To scan by Amazon categories, departments, or curated pages.

  5. You’ll then have two options: enter a Seller ID (Amazon Seller ID) or a Product Brand.

    • Using Seller ID: Enter a Seller ID to scan a specific Amazon Seller’s entire storefront.

Note: The Seller Product Search tool is a global search. This refreshes at a rate of 1 every 3 hours.

    • Search by Brand: Enter a Brand to scan.

Then, select one of the options from the dropdown menu to select which one to scan.

  6. *Optional: Customize Your Scan Settings

Before starting your search, you can customize a few settings to better match your sourcing strategy:

    • Price Adjustments: Factor in shipping costs, taxes, or cashback offers.

    • Choose Websites: Include or exclude specific retailers based on your preferences.

Additionally, you can also add more filters to your search. These optional tweaks help ensure your results align with your business goals.

  7. *Optional: Add a Search name to help you find it more easily later.

  8. Once your list is uploaded and settings are configured, click Start Search.

Tactical Arbitrage will now search across your selected websites to identify sourcing opportunities for your bulk product list.
