How to use Explore in Tactical Arbitrage 2.0

Learn how to use Explore (Quick Picks) to instantly find profitable product leads without running a scan.

Updated today

Explore or previously Quick Picks in TA 1 is designed for speed and simplicity. It’s a faster way to find profitable products since no scan setup is required. It gives you instant access to a curated selection of product leads, pulled from Tactical Arbitrage’s extensive database of pre-scanned results.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up your preferences, apply filters, and work through results to find leads worth adding to your workflow.

Overview of Explore

Explore allows sellers to skip the manual scan process and instantly browse profitable product opportunities. Instead of creating a scan, you’re accessing Tactical Arbitrage’s internal database, updated with product data from past scans across multiple sources.

With version 2.0, the feature has been upgraded to:

  • A refreshed design that matches the Tactical Arbitrage 2.0 Results interface

  • Offer clearer seller and sourcing information

  • Provide better product actions like saving to folders or dismissing unwanted items

How to Use Explore

To use Explore as a Seller 365 user:

  1. Choose Beta Apps on your dashboard

  2. Click Launch under Tactical Arbitrage 2

  3. Once in Tactical Arbitrage, hover over the sidebar and click Explore

(This is the new version of what was previously called Quick Picks)

Setting Up Your Explore View

  1. Choose Source and Destination

At the top of the Explore panel, you’ll see two key inputs:

    • Select Method

      • Store to Amazon: Sourcing from an online retailer to sell on Amazon

      • Amazon (US) to Store: Reverse sourcing to find a product on Amazon, then locate it at a retail source

    • Select Amazon Marketplace

Choose where you want to sell. Available options include, Amazon.com (US), Amazon.co.uk (UK), Amazon.ca (Canada), Amazon.de (Germany), and more.

Explore only work within a single marketplace. For cross-border sourcing, use Product Finder.

  2. Applying Filters

Click the Filter button on the toolbar to access filtering options. These are similar to what’s available on the main Results page, with some additions unique to Explore:

  • Filters:
These allow you to filter results based on when the product was added to the TA database.

  • ROI Button:
Set a minimum ROI directly from the top bar.

  • Hide Sold by Amazon Toggle:
Easily show or remove products sold by Amazon.

Working with Results

Explore uses the same Results layout as other Tactical Arbitrage tools. Here are a few key features to know:

  1. Customize Columns

Click Customize View to choose which columns you want displayed and List or Grid view. Tailor your view based on the information that matters most to your sourcing strategy.

  2. Save to Collection

Save leads by clicking the Folder icon in the side menu of any product result.

You can then check the items you saved in the Collection tab.

  3. Customized Shortcuts

Want quick access to tools like Keepa? Just hover over the sidebar, click the three dots (⋮), and select Customize Shortcuts. From there, you can add or remove links to match your workflow.

  1. Seller Information Tags

    1. Each result includes seller context, shown under the Seller Information column:

      • Sold by Amazon: Sold and fulfilled by Amazon. May signal high competition or restrictions.

      • Not Sold by Amazon: More favorable for third-party sellers.

      • Third-Party Seller at Store: Sold by independent sellers on retailer sites. Use caution.

      • Seller is the Store: Sold directly by the retailer. Most reliable for sourcing.

Use this to assess potential risks and opportunities.

  2. Product Variations

To view product variations, look under the Key Information column for theVariationstag. Click the “i” icon to see variation details.

  3. Tactical Edge Access

Under the Product Competition column, you’ll see a shortcut to Tactical Edge. Click it to analyze stock levels, seller counts, and other competitive data.

Best Practices for Explore

  • Use filters to match your sourcing strategy and weed out unprofitable results

  • Save high-potential leads to your Collection for later validation

  • Set ROI minimums (e.g., >1%) to avoid low-margin or loss-making products

  • Exclude Amazon as a seller if you want to avoid direct competition

  • Check seller tags to assess sourcing risk

  • Use Tactical Edge to review competition before committing
