The Restriction Checker allows you to quickly verify whether your Amazon seller account is eligible to list specific products before you purchase inventory.
Instead of checking products one by one in Seller Central, you can paste up to 1,000 ASINs or product identifiers at once and receive a bulk eligibility report. This makes it much easier to validate sourcing lists before making buying decisions.
📝 Note: Restriction Checker uses Amazon API data. While highly accurate, Amazon Seller Central's Add Products page remains the official source of truth.
Before You Begin
Make sure your Amazon account is connected to Tactical Arbitrage. The Restriction Checker uses your connected seller account to determine your listing eligibility.
You can check products using:
ASINs
UPCs
EANs
GTINs
Mixed formats are supported in the same list.
How to Use Restriction Checker
From the sidebar, expand Analysis Tools in TA Classic. In TA Lite, you can find it under Tools.
Select Restriction Checker.
Or in TA Lite:
Choose the Amazon marketplace you want to check.
Paste your list of product identifiers into the text box.
You can separate items using:
spaces
commas
new lines
Alternatively, select Import From File to upload a list.
Click Fetch Information.
Tactical Arbitrage will process each product and return its listing eligibility based on your connected Amazon account.
Understanding the Results
Once the scan finishes, you'll be able to quickly identify which products you're eligible to sell and which products require approval before listing.
This allows you to:
Filter out restricted products before purchasing inventory.
Validate large sourcing lists in seconds.
Save time compared to checking products individually in Seller Central.
Focus on products you're ready to sell immediately.
💡 Tips:
Check products before placing wholesale or online arbitrage orders.
Paste ASINs directly from Tactical Arbitrage search results or supplier lists.
Mixed identifier formats (ASIN, UPC, EAN, GTIN) can all be checked together.
If a product's restriction status seems different from Seller Central, verify it using Amazon's Add Products page, as Amazon is the final authority.
Localizing Restriction Checker
Restriction Checker is available for multiple Amazon marketplaces.
To change the marketplace:
Open Restriction Checker.
Locate the Selling at Amazon dropdown near the top of the page.
Select the marketplace where you want to verify your listing eligibility (for example, Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, or Amazon.ca).
Paste your identifiers and run the check as usual.
📝 Note: Eligibility is specific to each Amazon marketplace. A product you can sell in one marketplace may still require approval in another.
