Getting Started with Wholesale Finder in TA 2.0

Learn how to start a scan in TA 2.0’s Wholesale Finder and filter results for profitable wholesale leads.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Wholesale Finder is designed to help you analyze supplier catalogs or manifests to uncover profitable products to resell on Amazon. Whether you’re working with a distributor, brand, or wholesale supplier, this tool makes it easy to scan large product lists and evaluate opportunities at scale.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to:

  • Initiate a scan in Wholesale Finder

  • Configure scan settings and filters

Note: Wholesale Finder works best when you already have an established relationship with a supplier or distributor. You’ll need access to their product list, and Tactical Arbitrage does not provide these files.

Once you’re signed in, start your Wholesale search by:

  1. Hover over Search in the sidebar and click Wholesale Finder. Then, click Find Products in the top-right corner.

2. Choose how you want your scan to run (scan type, sourcing from, and selling at)

Before you start, you’ll need to set three key options: scan type, source site, and selling marketplace.

  • Scan Type:

    • Efficient: Combines real-time and cached data for faster scans with solid, reliable results. Recommended for most use cases.

    • Online: Pulls live data directly from supplier sites. Offers the most current info but may take longer.

    • Custom: Gives you full control to fine-tune how the scan runs based on your own settings.

  • Sourcing From / Selling At:

Next, select where you want to source products from and where you plan to sell them.

3. Select your scan type.

You’ll see three scan type options:

  • Wholesale List: Upload a catalog or manifest from your supplier or distributor to scan for profitable products.

  • Products: Search using ASINs, UPCs, ISBNs, keywords, or scan saved leads from your Tactical Bucket.

  • Sellers: Search by Seller ID or Brand Name to find products tied to specific Amazon sellers or brands.

4. Apply filters to refine your search

Toggle on or adjust filters like price adjustments, profit margins, ROI, seller count, and more. You can use the default settings or customize them based on your goals.

Here are popular filters you’ll find under the Wholesale Finder tab:

  • Price Adjustment: Add shipping, tax, or cashback values.

  • Gross ROI / Gross Profit: Set minimum and maximum profit margins.

  • Fulfilment method: Choose between FBA or FBM.

  • Adjust shipment costs: Manually include additional shipping fees.

  • Hide Amazon products based on their ranking: Skip listings that rank above your set threshold.

  • Hide products based on their estimated sales: Remove low-demand items based on estimated sales data (past 30 days).

  • Hide Hazmat Products: Exclude hazardous items from your results.

  • Hide products with too few or too many sellers: Avoid private label or oversaturated listings (Min. 3 sellers is a good starting point).

  • Show products without category information: Include listings without Amazon category data (could reveal overlooked products).

  • Hide out of stock products: Filter out items currently unavailable at the store.

  • Hide 3rd party sellers: Only show products sold directly by the retailer.

  • Show every product variation and their Amazon matches: View all variations as separate listings (Walmart, Walgreens, Target only).

  • Hide bidding price: (eBay only) Skip auction-style listings.

  • Cross-Store Price Check : Check for cheaper options across other supported stores.

Tip: Start with minimal filters. This helps you avoid filtering out good leads too early. You can always fine-tune the results after the scan.

5. *Optional: Add search name.
