Track and Manage Scans from the Searches Page in Tactical Arbitrage 2.0

Learn how to use the Searches page to monitor active scans, review completed ones, and set them to auto-run.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you’ve run a product scan in Tactical Arbitrage 2.0, the Searches page is where you can track progress, manage scan history, and automate future scans. You can monitor active scans, review completed ones, save searches, and set them to auto-run, helping you stay organized and efficient.

You can access the Searches page from the top navigation bar.

Note: Tactical Arbitrage 2.0 is currently in beta. Features and interface elements are still being improved, so you may notice changes or updates as we continue refining the experience.

Understanding the Searches Page

The Searches page has five key tabs to help you manage your scans efficiently:

  1. In Process

This section shows all scans that are currently running, paused, or waiting in the queue. For each one, you’ll see important details like estimated time, the filters used, how many products have been scanned, and how many were added to your results.

    • Limit of Active Searches

You can run up to 10 searches per region (North America, Europe, Far East) at the same time. Your total limit, including both running and queued searches, is 30.

Note that each search remains in the system for up to 72 hours from the time it’s queued. After that, it will expire and be removed automatically, so it’s a good idea to plan your scans with that timing in mind.

    • Renaming Search

You have the ability to rename the process to make it easier to search later. To do this:

      • Click the pencil icon next to the current search name.

      • Enter a new name.

      • Click Update Search to save your changes.

    • Stop and Pause Search

You can pause or stop your searches from this tab.

      • Pause temporarily halts the scan, and you can resume it anytime.

      • Clicking Stop will end the scan completely. If you want to run it again, you’ll need to start a new search. Once stopped, the scan will be moved to the Completed page.

Note: When at least one search is running, a Stop all searches button will appear at the top of the page. If you use this button to stop a search before it finishes, it will still be moved to the Completed page.

    • Watch Logs and Save

Under the kebab menu (three dots), you can view or download scan logs and save your search.

      • Scan logs show a detailed timeline of the scan’s activity, including start and stop times, any errors, and how many products were scanned.

      • Saved searches will appear on the Saved page, helpful if you plan to enable Auto-Run later.

  2. Completed

This section shows all completed scans. It includes many of the same options as the In Progress tab, but with a few important differences.

    • Filter by Search Type and Sort by

Use the All Results dropdown in the top-left corner to filter your scans by search type, such as All Searches, Product Search, or Reverse Search.

You can also sort your scans by process name or number to help you find what you need faster.

    • Viewing Results

Since this is your Completed Scans page, you can view the results by clicking View results next to the corresponding process name or number.

    • Download Scan

Within this section, you can download individual scans or use Download All to save all your results for offline access. This is useful if you want to back up your data or analyze it later outside of Tactical Arbitrage.

  3. Saved

This section holds scans you’ve saved for future use. In Tactical Arbitrage 2.0, the option to save a search is now more hidden compared to the old version, but it’s still available for completed searches with results.

Note that searches without results are automatically removed after 2 days, while those with results can remain available indefinitely, unless you delete them yourself.

You must save a scan within 7 days of completion. After that, the save button will no longer be available. If the button is greyed out, it means the scan has already been saved and will stay disabled unless you remove it from your Saved tab.

You can also enable Auto Run from this tab. Once activated, the scan will appear in your Scheduled tab, where you can manage its settings.

  4. Scheduled

This tab shows scans you’ve scheduled to run later. You can edit, pause, or delete any scheduled scan as needed. A key feature here is Skip if in Queue, when enabled, it prevents a scheduled scan from starting if a previous one is still in line.

  5. Previous Searches

This tab keeps a record of your 100 most recent scans. You can download for offline access, watch logs to review scan activity, or delete scans from the list, which are similar to the options in the In Process tab.

When you hit the 100 scan limit, the oldest scan will be automatically removed to make room for new ones, keeping the list up to date.
